Welcome to the homepage of the Update Computer Club!
Update is an academic computer club for the students and staff at Uppsala University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala.
Update was founded in 1983 with the purpose of furthering the interest in and broadening the knowledge of the field of computers, and works for this purpose by means of lectures and displays, and by providing students with an opportunity to gain experience with the administration of multi-user computer systems on various platforms, among other things.
As a member, you will make friends with current students of all disciplines, as well as with many knowledgeable alumni and staff. The social environment of the club encourages learning of new computer skills, including programming, system management, and more. There is always someone to answer your questions.
